City tax is a tax imposed in all Europe for accommodation facilities and hotels, is NOT included in the price of the travel package and is payable directly by the traveller, (usually) upon arrival at the establishment.  

The amount of the city tax is per person, per night and depends on the valid at the time legislation of each country / region, with the most common factors being:

• number of overnights
• location
• hotel ranking (stars/ keys)

You may easily find by searching the internet the average amount of the city tax that will be asked of you based on the factors above.

In specific:

For travels in Greece

The city tax is per room, per day for main hotel and rental furnished rooms-apartment accommodation facilities, depending on their rating, as follows: 

For the main hotel accommodation facilities:
1-2 stars 2€
3 stars 5€
4 stars 10€
5 stars 15€

For the rented furnished rooms- apartments:
2€

For travels abroad

The city tax imposed in other European countries/ cities depends on the above mentioned factors, as well as potential changes by the local authorities, and therefore it is not possible to advice you in advance about the exact amount that you will be asked for. 

You can do an individual search on the internet, so as to know the average - rage of the city tax. To facilitate the traveler of our travel packages, on the accommodation voucher (which will be uploaded on the page of the reservation a few days before travelling) an estimate amount will be stated for the city tax requested for the accommodation

For organized groups abroad (Belgrade - Bucharest - Sofia - Istanbul - Bansko)

In the detailed information of each package and to be exact in the section “Not included” , the amount of the city tax is mentioned. In some hotels in these 5 destinations, the city tax is included in the price of the package. Therefore, in case the section “Not included” does not mention the city tax, then the city tax is included in the price of the travel package and you will not be asked for it upon arrival.
