In general

The price of the packages is per person for all overnight stays and includes the transportation and the accommodation in the basic (cheaper) room type of the facility.

The basic price of the package is calculated taking into account a specific room type, that is usually the cheapest type and depends on its category (e.g. economy, standard, superior, etc) and/or its capacity (e.g. double, triple, quadruple etc)

• Category of rooms

If a hotel has more than one type of room, for example economy, standard and superior rooms, the price of the travel package is calculated based on the cheapest type (for example economy room) while being accommodated in another room type has an extra charge .

Likewise, during the reservation process, in the step “Choose rooms” you may once again see the extra charge that might be true for any given room type.

EXAMPLE: Let’s say that hotel X has double standard rooms and double superior rooms. with the price of the package for the dates we want to travel being 100 euros per person. The price of the package is for accommodation in a double standard room. 

Let’s say that the double superior room has an extra charge of +20 euros which is mentioned in the detailed information of the package. If during the reservation process at the step of selecting rooms, we choose the double superior room, the total amount of our reservation including the extra charge will be 240 euros, therefore 120 euros per person. If on the other hand, we choose the double standard room, the price of the package remains the basic price and therefore the total amount of our reservation will be 200 euros.

The extra charge for the room type is per person for the individuals that will stay in a room with extra charge. If we are 4 people traveling, and 2 of us choose the double superior room while the other 2 choose the double standard room, then the total amount of our reservation for 4 people will be 440 euros, meaning 120 euros for the 2 persons staying in the superior room and 100 euros for the 2 persons staying in the standard room

• Room capacities

Likewise, a hotel may have for example double, triple, quadruple etc rooms. Usually the cheaper/ basic room type is the one with the biggest capacity (e.g. the quadruple room) ; therefore the price of the package is calculated based on accommodation in a 4-people room. This means that if for example you wish to stay in a double room, the double room will have an extra charge, which is mentioned in the detailed information of the package and is per person for the entire stay. This amount will be added to the basic price of the package if you select the double room during the reservation process. 

To sum everything up, if there is any extra charge for any room type the amount will be mentioned in the detailed information of the package, namely in the “TYPES OF ROOMS” section right next to the room type in a parenthesis . 

Before starting any reservation process you may check the room types available to know beforehand if there is any extra charge or not. 

IMPORTANT! To be able to make a reservation, the number of participants must be in line with the capacity of the rooms. It is not possible for example to be 2 people travelling and choose a quadruple room. You must select a double room which might have an extra charge that you will know beforehand

Single room

When staying in a single room, either in Greece or abroad, there is always an extra charge, the so-called single occupancy charge.

If there is availability for a single room in the accommodation facility you are interested in, then the single occupancy charge will appear right next to the room type, the amount will be for all overnights of the package and it is be added to the basic price of the travel package upon choosing it during the reservation process. 

In case the travel package you are interested in, does not mention availability in a single room, then the process you should follow is this:

1. Complete the reservation process normally. .
2. IMPORTANT! In the 2nd step “Choose rooms” of the reservation process, click the option “I do not choose room types because I am travelling along with another reservation”.
3. Once you complete the reservation process and before making any payment, log in to your account.
4. Find the section “My reservations”.
5. Click your reservation to open the page of your reservation
6. Find the section “Modification requests”
7. A text appears and you select “I understand” after you read it.
8. From the requests that will appear, you’ll have to choose the one with the title “Change package type before payment”.
9. In the text box that will appear write that you wish to stay in a single room.
10. Your request will be checked and you will receive a reply to it informing you about the availability in single room and the single occupancy charge , so as to decide whether or not you wish continue with the reservation and its payment
11. We underline that you must not make any payment for the reservation until you receive a reply to your request.
12. The reply will appear right below your request in your reservation page. You will also receive an email notifying you to check the reply.
